who has been with us in the Diocese for 31/2 years and in St. John’s for 3 years is to take up an appointment as Chaplain to the Defence Forces based at Sarsfield Barracks, Limerick on December 12th. We thank him for his service and wish him well. We pray God’s Blessing on his future ministry.

It is hoped to re-commence our Sunday Children’s Liturgy. We are looking for volunteers to assist with this. Please give your name and contact details to the Parish Centre.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rathass was dedicated and first opened in December 1868. To celebrate the 150th anniversary, the 7.00pm vigil Mass on Saturday 8th December was celebrated by Bishop Ray Browne.
